Still Light Signs with helmet room – Kal Cahoone and Orbit Service live in Denver

Friday, September 24th, 2010

Greetings Friends!

Please welcome Still Light to the helmet room recordings roster. Still light is fronted by producer/songwriter Kirill Nikolai, who is also playing in Orbit Service. Still Light has signed with us for digital distribution, so tracks will be available digitally in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, however, you can come check out Still Light this Saturday, Sept. 25 at The Walnut Room, where they will be performing with Voladores (featuring violinist Frieda Stalheim ex-Munly and The Lee Lewis Harlots) and The Widow’s Bane.

NEXT weekend, October 2, Kal Cahoone plays with Ian Cooke, who will himself be playing 2 sets, one solo and one with his awesome band. This event also taking place at The Walnut Room (click for tix).

A bit further out, Orbit Service will be playing with Still Light and Label-mates/drone lords Expo 70 on October 27 at The Walnut Room, as part of a Beta-lactam Ring Records showcase. Free giveaways all night courtesy of Beta-lactam Ring. We promise to melt your face off.
