Lots of news from helmet room HQ. First off, the long-awaited re-release of antenne “#2″ has finally come to fruition, featuring a stellar cover of Nick Drake’s “Black Eyed Dog.”

And finally, a very long overdue release from orbit service who comes out of hibernation with a new song appearing on Beta-lactam Ring Records’ cancer benefit CD entitled MOM, which features contributions from The Legendary Pink Dots, Nurse With Wound, Nadja, and a whole lot of other great artists- and all for a good cause.

New Orbit Service track available on MOM CD from Beta-lactam Ring Records
Wednesday, October 7th, 2009New track from Orbit Service will be appearing on the MOM release on Beta-lactam Ring, (all proceeds going to help Chris’ mom in her fight against stomach cancer).
We are super proud to have been asked to contribute for such a worthy cause. The new Orbit Service track features violin work from Elin Palmer (Crooked Fingers, Woven Hand, Munly and the Lee Lewis Harlots). Please click here to order a copy of the CD.
