helmet r00m recordings :: update 09.26.06

greetings space cadets:

Time for another update. New additions to the catalog include the mesmerizing "Rock And Roll Station" from Nurse With Wound; Spaced out excursions from Earthmonkey; mellow psych-rock from Martijn de Kleer (the Legendary Pink Dots guitarist), featuring Cevin Key (Skinny Puppy) on drums, and Ryan Moore (Twilight Circus Dub Sound System) on Bass; Ambient forest magic from Ariel Kalma and guitar-induced hysteria courtesy of Tokyo-based progressive rock revivalists Green Milk From The Planet Orange.

Birch Book Vol. II "Fortune & Folly" is currently being mastered by Denis Blackham at Skye Mastering (who's mastering credits include Curve, Death In June, Current 93, T-Rex, Hendrix and a TON more), and we have a tentative release date of November 28th. Look for a West Coast tour from Birch Book in Late November as well. We should have audio samples up soon, and we should have Birch Book Vol. I in stock very soon.

The new CD "Casualite" from Astrophagus is now available for pre-order, this release has a street date of October 10, 2006. Look for a fall west coast tour to follow.

Orbit Service is currently in the studio working on new material for the limited-edition double vinyl edition of "Songs of Eta Carinae," to be released by Beta-lactam Ring Records later this year.

Stay tuned, and keep the knives out of your ears.
